A BIT ABOUT US

Born from the desire to let creativity rule.

Based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Random Change is what happens when three musicians come together with a passion for pushing their own sonic limits. Call us prog, jazz, or just plain weird. We call ourselves an instrumental band that loves all of the notes equally.

THE PLAYERS

CARL BLEKE

DRUMS

A drummer, an audio engineer, and and all around swell guy. Carl is the man behind the kit, doing his best to keep the rest of us in time. A Berklee-educated cruise ship veteran, there's not many kinds of music he hasn't played. But ask him to throw it all out and make some interesting noise with Random Change, and Carl is right at home. He's also a proud Papa.

JAY PICCIRILLO

BASS

4-, 5-, or 6-string; fretted or fretless; Fender or Fodera, Jay can and does play it all. And we think he does it pretty damn well. On top of that, he's Random Change's chief synth and ambient architect. Not to mention he also holds down the low end in the Midwest's premier Pink Floyd tribute band, Pink Droyd. Not bad for being a bass player.

PAUL KOBYLENSKY

GUITAR

From the twang of Nashville to the roar of '90s Seattle, from the ambiance of modern worship to the intimacy of solo acoustic, Paul loves it all. Today, you're just as likely to catch him watching Larry Carlton videos with his cat, Creamy Steve as you are blowing his ears out at a death metal show. And it's that dichotomy that creates his identifiable sound.
